Welcoming our Chief Revenue Officer, Peter Ruchatz!

Today, we are excited to announce Peter Ruchatz as our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Bringing over 15 years of experience in leading go to market initiatives for fast-growing SaaS and Software firms, Peter will be responsible for overseeing our global sales and marketing efforts, accelerating growth with commercial customers and expanding our global footprint.

At Tresorit, our goal is to empower businesses to move to the cloud by guaranteeing on-premise equivalent security combined with consumer-grade simplicity. “Having an experienced growth expert like Peter onboard will allow us to further build upon this vision globally. I’m confident that his leadership will help both Tresorit and our clients grow and benefit from the digital transformation” said our CEO, István Lám.

Prior to joining Tresorit, Peter has held various leadership positions including CMO at data protection company Veeam Software, where his efforts helped doubling the revenue to over $600M within 3 years and position Veeam as leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Before that, Peter served at Salesforce.com as Vice President Central Europe and held Business Group Lead positions at Microsoft in the US and Germany. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group where he spent 5 years advising businesses on growth and go-to-market strategies.

“With the GDPR entering into force, privacy legislations becoming more stringent worldwide and security breaches bigger than ever before, there is a growing awareness of data security and privacy. My mission in this new position will be to help businesses to keep benefiting from cloud-based file sharing and collaboration while protecting sensitive data at an unprecedented level with Tresorit’s unique encryption technology” explained Peter.

We are proud that our company’s unique technology and market potential attracts experienced talents like Cybersecurity Veteran David Canellos who joined Tresorit’s Board earlier this year and now Peter who will strengthen our management team.
