Tresorit would like to place cookies on your computer to help us improve your experience on our websites.
We think it is important to protect your privacy and be open about how we use your data. This information is to keep you informed and to help you enjoy our websites.
Tresorit websites use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies to make our website more attractive and to enable certain features. This policy explains how we use cookies and the choices you have.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser or elsewhere on your hard drive. There are other similar technologies such as pixel tags (transparent graphic images placed on a web page or in an email, which indicate that a page or email has been viewed), web bugs (similar to pixel tags), and web storage, which are used in desktop software or mobile devices. In this policy, we refer to all of these technologies as “cookies”.
We use cookies to recognize you when you visit our website. This helps us for example to log you in, remember your preferences (such as default language), evaluate e-mail effectiveness, and to make our website work more efficiently.
By themselves, cookies do not identify you specifically. Rather, they recognize your web browser. So, unless you identify yourself, for example by opening an account or filling out a web form, you remaim anonymous to Tresorit.
For the ease of understanding, we detail below the cookies we use, so you can decide if you are happy or if you would rather delete existing cookies, or even disable the use of cookies altogether.
You are free to decline cookies by applying the appropriate browser settings. You can learn more about managing cookie settings at the below links.
As there are lots of different browsers, we cannot give instructions for all of them here. For other browsers, please consult the documentation that your browser manufacturer provides.
Please note that if you choose to block cookies, doing so may impair or prevent certain elements of our website from functioning.
As part of our privacy commitment, Tresorit services honor DO NOT TRACK (DNT) requests.
Please note that there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal. However, we have adopted an approach that we believe honors the fundamental pro-privacy aims of the DNT standard. If you enable DNT in your browser, we will not use third-party cookies for re-marketing and advertisement purposes.
Regardless of whether you browse DNT or not, we do not track you across the Internet.
Some third-party services that we use, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This policy covers use of cookies by Tresorit only and not the use of cookies by third parties.

They are covered by the privacy policy of the third-party service.
